After a well-deserved winter break, the team is delighted to invite you to the traditional reopening celebration of the Jardin des Nations. Let’s celebrate together the beginning of a new season!

 

Concerts, small local producers’ market, activities and workshops for all ages, and the chance to discover our open-air photo exhibition…

Markets and Exhibition

📍 Throughout the Jardin des Nations

Creators’ Market – 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Discover a selection of local designers and artisans. Jewelry, illustrations, accessories, everyday items, or unique pieces: this market showcases artisanal craftsmanship and creativity in a warm and inspiring atmosphere. A perfect opportunity to find handmade treasures and support the local economy.

Seedling Market – 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Plantons à Demain presents a stall with vegetable and flower seedlings. Our variety selection is based on several criteria: suitability for our climate, seed reproducibility, and of course, the beauty and taste of the plants.

Self-guided Photo Exhibition – 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Don’t miss this major cultural event of the spring and discover the Jardin transformed into an open-air gallery. The exhibition features a unique journey through 45 photographic works that invite reflection and contemplation.

Botanical Quiz in the Potager des Nations – 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Alone or in a group, this short quiz will sharpen your observation skills in the heart of the garden.

Floral Embroidery – 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Embroidery, a craft with millennia of history, is a tribute to the intelligence and beauty of handmade traditions. Discover the symbolism of Romanian and Moldovan blouses – UNESCO heritage – through a communal tablecloth embroidery workshop symbolizing the unity of international Geneva. Supplies included.

Plantons à Demain offers a plastic-free seed sowing workshop, demonstrating how gardening can be eco-friendly.

Floral Watercolor Painting – 3:00 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. & 4:30 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.
Experience the magic of botanical watercolor in a workshop led by artist Petru Ceban, amidst the flowers of our urban garden. A unique opportunity to explore watercolor painting by observing the forms, textures, and colors of the plant world – poetically echoing the floral photo exhibition.

Insect Hotel Workshop – 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Take part in the creation of an essential refuge for insects – precious allies for biodiversity and the vegetable garden. This fun and educational workshop also gives you the chance to observe these little creatures up close, so you can understand them better… and protect them.

Vegetable Garden Writing Workshop – 5:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.
Be inspired by the setting and let your imagination bloom. Writing games and varied exercises to spark creativity. Open to all – no prior experience needed. Led by Véronique Clerc, creative writing facilitator.

Children’s Clothing Stand with Patchwork Workshop – 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Treehouse Circular sells high-quality second-hand clothes and items for children. Their mission: reduce waste and keep clothes in circulation.
Workshop: Children can drop by anytime to make their own patches to repair clothes. Glitter, paint, and stamps for the coolest self-repairing ever!

Enjoy live performances on the Buvette stage in a friendly and festive atmosphere to brighten up your afternoon at the Jardin.
